Innofounders Cohort
Program Operation
We conduct our 26-week Startup Program for a scholarship-sponsored cohort of 30-50 aspiring-founders in two-yearly cohorts, training and seeding them in developing their venture opportunities:
Track-1, Founder Training:
for 10 weeks, the cohort will undergo intensive VC-E&ED and capital markets industry training, covering all the venture discovery, development and delivery processes and ecosystem - enabling them to identify, validate, and execution-plan their startups for incubation and operation.
Track-2, Incubation & Seed Funding:
Trained founders with a validated startup and biz plan undergo this 8-week incubation and mentoring track, wherein IFF invests initially up to $1M in each startup for an equity interest therein as a joint portfolio-company with its founder(s). These funds will be used for incubating and capacity-building the startups.
Track-3: Acceleration & Growth Funding:
Revenue-generating ventures emerging from incubation undergo this 8-week acceleration and mentoring track, wherein IFF and its sister-firms provide each venture $10M growth-funding with follow-on rounds, including acquisition capital, for their scaling and aggressive value-creating initiatives.
Mentoring Support
IFF will assign to each startup, at their incubation and acceleration stages, a support team of talent-mentors, executive coaches, specialty advisors and professional service providers, devoted to their founding-teams for capacity-building, revenue-generating, and scaling their venture operations.
Cohort Tuition Fee & Scholarship Sponsorship
For Track-1 (Founder Training), corporate or government-sponsorship of $60k in tuition and mentoring-fee per student-founder applies.
IFF will help raise cohort-sponsorship participation, involving federal grants & FA programs; as well as the financial and development-mission community including SMB-VC-PE funds, philanthropy, and CSR/social entrepreneurship funds.
